Avian Influenza Resources

Avian Influenza, or the "bird flu", is a respiratory infection that infects mostly avian species but has been found in some mammals as well. This virus can cause symptoms such as depression and decreased activity, a sudden drop in egg production, coughing, sneezing, and ruffled feathers, and can range in severity. Vaccines are very difficult to manufacture because these types of viruses undergo constant change.
